The million dollar Kardashian-Humphries wedding may have only recently aired on E!, but rumors have been swirling for weeks that the marriage was on the rocks. First, Kim's family expressed their distrust of Kris, then the newlyweds made plans that would have them on opposite coasts for the near future and Kris reportedly said he wouldn't be her "TV husband" for much longer.
It all adds up to a marriage that crumbled just weeks after the honeymoon ended.
This morning, the gossip show TMZ announced that divorce papers had been filed by Kim to end the 72-day marriage on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. E! later released a statement from Kim confirming the divorce.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," Kim Kardashian said. "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
